The Queensland Police Union of Employees provides the highest possible standard of representation for the benefit and protection of its members. The QPUE provides assistance, representation and advocates for members during critical incidents, disciplinary investigations, workplace bullying and harassment issues, injury management, return to work, Workcover claims and industrial entitlements. The Union maintains a benevolent fund to assist members with severe financial hardship and death benefits.

The QPCOUE represents Commissioned Officers of the Queensland Police Service from the rank of Inspector to Chief Superintendent who voluntarily choose to be a financial member of this Union.
The Union provides a range of services including representation, advocacy and advice concerning:
Welfare support, family support in need, mental health/stress issues Industrial issues
Legal representation/advice for financial members.
The Black Dog Institute is dedicated to understanding, preventing and treating mental illness. We are about creating a world where mental illness is treated with the same level of concern, immediacy and seriousness as physical illness; where scientists work to discover the causes of illness and new treatments, and where discoveries are immediately put into practice through health services, technology and community education.
Blue HOPE was created to provide support to current and former police officers and their families who are suffering with mental health issues. We are independent to all law enforcement agencies and seek to support all police, but especially those police officers who want an alternate to internal supports. Our staff case manage officers and keep in touch personally to encourage and support throughout the process.
Lifeline is an Australian independent non-profit organisation providing free, 24-hour Telephone Crisis Support service in Australia. Volunteer Crisis Supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online
The Queensland Police Legacy Scheme is an independent incorporated organisation and is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities. They assist the eligible dependent families of deceased Queensland Police Officers, Queensland Police Officers whose spouse/partner has died and Queensland Police families with a parent suffering from an incurable/terminal illness.
